Here are some of my creative pieces while I was undertaking my Diploma of Graphic Design.
Digital Application Design
I developed a brand identity for a new company, planned and designed a digital application, with original designs integrated and a working prototype tested using industry standard software. The app that I designed is a booking app for local food and dining establishments in my hometown – Davao City, Philippines.
Location Branding
I designed and produced an identity and branding system for a location that I believed would benefit from this project. The location I chose is my hometown – Davao City, Philippines. Some of the designs include wayfinding signage, business card and uniforms.
Packaging
I created a set of print packaging, including three variations, a company name and the product details according to packaging standards. I chose soap crayons catered for kids as my product concept. I then implemented the digital version of packaging and experimented with the printed 3D version.
Museum Banners
The “Welcome to the Jungle” was an exhibition concept that aimed to showcase a vibrant array of artifacts, interactive media displays and artwork that brought to life the flora, fauna and indigenous peoples of the tropical jungle ecosystems around the world. I created three vinyl outdoor banners intended to be displayed outside of the museum during the exhibition, utilising original illustrations.
Postcards
Inspired by Days of Type, I illustrated a series of letterforms based on a theme, running from A-Z (and then 0-9). I chose the media and size of the original illustrations. Then, I created a series of postcards using the creative typography.
Editorial
I designed a four page (two spread) editorial lay-out for a magazine, with a selected “phobia” as content. I produce my own illustrations and photography.
